There are quite a few positive things about this indoor outdoor bar top. It makes entertaining so much more convenient and if you're in the kitchen cooking up a storm but everyone else is in the backyard, the large open expanse will make it feel like you're still part of the backyard fun.
As for technical considerations, if you have a large bay window, you can easily replace those with a set of accordion windows or flip out windows then installing countertops on the exterior to get this feature. The part that will likely be the most challenging are definitely the windows. If the current span of the windows you have are too small, adding a few feet or even inches will require changes to the framing of the walls where the windows will be installed. This is always doable, it just gets pricier the wider you want to go for the window span.
