Ale and her team at TFX run a local gym in Concord where they help people get in shape with their wholistic exercise and diet methods. In early 2020 when the shutdown was mandated, Ale had to shut down their gym and close up shop. During all this, their gym was targeted by some passersby who were up to no good and shattered their gym's window. Thankfully, one of our team members at Home Quality Remodeling heard about this and we organized our crew to step in and fix Ale's window.
Carolyn is a member at Living Springs Christian Fellowship whose pastor we're close friends with. Pastor John told us that one of their church members needed help moving furniture around and painting so we organized a small team to go out and give Carolyn the help she needed. In the pictures, you see Ron - Home Quality Remodeling's owner - and Shay moving the furniture around and prepping the rooms for painting.
We were approached by Concord Little League asking us to repair their dugouts and scoring booth. After getting an idea of the work needed, Ron - HQR's owner- decided to do the work pro-bono and gift the league with a newly roofed dug-out, a new set of stairs to the scoring booth, new dry-wall for the booth, reside and repaint the booth as you can see in the picture. Years of wear and tear from weather and usage left the scoring booth and dugouts in poor condition. When our construction team came in, a lot of the joists were rotting due to exposure to water, the drywall in the booth also had water damage from the leaky roof, and the siding was literally falling apart.
Now that things are opening back up and the construction is done, the kids can come back to almost newly rebuilt baseball fields!
